Common permission requests

We welcome requests from Supporter organizations and others to use our logo and content where appropriate as a demonstration of your commitment to our vision and mission or to highlight our partnership.



Submit request

  • Logo

    We encourage Supporter organizations to display the Catalyst logo or any of its product or community logos, on their internet and intranet sites, recruitment collateral, and event promotional materials as appropriate.

  • Catalyst content

    We encourage the media, academics, and others to quote and cite Catalyst’s extensive body of research and strategic advice. To request permission, please fill out the request form.

  • Linking to our website

    You may hyperlink directly to publicly available Catalyst resources on our website without written permission.

    Unauthorized uploading of Catalyst resources and research to your site or other channels is prohibited.

Usage guidelines

Catalyst’s trademarks and intellectual property are owned by Catalyst and may only be used as provided in these guidelines or with Catalyst’s permission.

  • Go ahead

    • Go ahead and display the Catalyst logo and other product or initiative logos if your are part of a Supporter organization.
    • Go ahead and link to, quote, cite, or reference any publicly available works.
    • Go ahead and use any badges if you are a qualified user.

  • Ask first

    • Ask first before displaying the Catalyst logo in any advertising, marketing materials, or merchandise.
    • Ask first before modifying any gated downloadable assets.
    • Ask first before citing any Catalyst research, logo, images or multimedia in your own research or books.

  • Don’t

    • Don’t crop, resize, re-color, or otherwise imitate or modify our logo in any way that conflicts with our brand guidelines.
    • Don’t use our logo or brand elements in any way that implies affiliation, endorsement, or sponsorship where such a relationship does not exist.
    • Don’t use Catalyst-branded templates to produce your own content.
    • Don’t share gated downloadable assets with those who are not a Catalyst Supporter organization or outside of your acquired license.
